My client was ready to go all in with color and pattern, but I pushed for keeping a few spaces calm. In no way bland, just relaxing on the eye. I’m so glad my client trusted me. The living room was done in creams, anchored with a Vincent Van Duysen sofa. There’s still a nod to the color bursts elsewhere, like in the blue glass topped vintage Osvaldo Borsani cocktail tables. The primary bedroom, the other calm respite, is also full of relaxing tones and textures. The walls are clad in a serine suede wall treatment to compliments the custom dusty rose mohair bed. The rest of the apartment however, from the bold wallpapers to the Mah Jong sectional to the oversized cut gem entry mirror, gives all the excitement the family wanted.
