When your client’s directive is “I want to feel like I’m living inside a genie bottle”, you have your work cut out for you. Added to this was the fact that the main space was shockingly large… two side by side living rooms that each needed their own moment. For the family/playroom side, we found the wonderfully tie-dyed sectional at Timothy Oulton. It was the perfect grounding piece…chic enough to impress the genie, but user friendly enough to keep her two young boys from demolishing it. The neon yellow sculpture by Thomas Gromas lets you know exactly what’s going on. The set up was the perfect foil to the more sophisticated jewel-tone situation a few feet away. There, wine with friends felt relaxed, easy and fun.
