High PointHad a great time in North Carolina last weekend checking out the incredible and overwhelming High Point Market. We made the smart decision to just go without much agenda and take in as much as we could before going mad. I am sure I saw barely a tenth of what was there, but I saw a lot and loved a lot.

This is mostly to the trade, so you’ll have to enquire about which stores in your area carry what you like. Here are a few of my favorite finds.

IMG_3595Probably my best takeaway are the Vintage vinyl Floorcloths from Spicher & Company. It’s no secret that I love decorating with rubber-backed and outdoor mats. They are my go-to for stylish, clean looks while also being super user friendly (READ: easy cleanup/no fluff balls). These have the (very realistic) look of European floor tiles. I don’t know which I like more, the colored patterns or the black and white. Love.

IMG_3589One of the first stores we went into (and the one that also sold retail as well as to the trade) was Bobo. They have both antiques and new pieces. I loved the wooden Polyhedron pendants.

I also loved the large leather log baskets. So good. There was also a take on the Butterfly Chair, but with a distinctive mid century base that I just fell in love with. This is the kind of store that you could spend hours in, keep going back and continue to find something new.

IMG_3579 IMG_3575These beautiful Windsor bed frames from Nuevo. Right?!

So much to see, so little time. Next year, I will have a more focused agenda, but for me, sometimes going to these huge trade shows without more than a desire to see beautiful new things is all it takes to find what you are looking for. A really amazing event. Xo.
