high-2Blow-2Bcouch-2B1I am surprised with how into these seamless couches with flowing lines I am (sorry for the bad sentence structure, but I get excited).  I am beyond obsessed with one in particular. It’s so much more $$ though. Can you tell which is which? Answer after the jump.

This is the Cosse by my secret crush/design hero Philippe Nigro. Available at Ligne Roset starting at $4,200 for the 69 inch, and $5,080 for the 85 inch. I love it. Here it is in real time…

And below is the Pennie Sofa from Crate and Barrel. It costs $899. I think it’s a perfectly good looking couch, which even surprises me, but it’s comfortable and I think has a cool Scandinavian mod look to it. I’d lose the two long pillows.

And this is how it looks in the store…

While they do have a similar plush feel, and while I am into finding an interesting shaped couch without the structure/tailoring/tufted pillows or multiple seat cushions that are so ubiquitous these days… The Cosse just kills me. I love the slit seams and the base is beautiful from all angles, making this my new favorite couch for 2014 (just under the wire!) What do you think? Xo.
