As seen at ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair). I am so into these leather tiles from the Dutch company Alphenberg. Their leather is beautiful, comes in a variety of colors and textures, and can be used to tile a wall or a floor. Really, is there anything more glamorous?
But also, the tiles are sustainable and fully recyclable. From the website: Alphenberg uses a waste product and processes this into a high-quality, biologically stable product. (The) floors have been tanned in an environmentally friendly way and they are biologically degradable; the floor tiles are fully recyclable.
One of their new items being showcased at the fair were square padded tiles (below in a diamond shape) that work to give a stunner of a tufted looking wall or headboard.
They run from $50-$75. I want a padded leather wall and I want it now. Xo.Alphenberg, flooring, leather, padded tile, wall covering
