I was snooping around the MoMA shop the other day, killing time while I waited for the President’s motorcade to pass (which kept me captive on 53rd street for a half hour…) when I saw the Vertigo Pendant Lamp from Constance Guisset. It is really gasp-worthy.
Both massive in size yet visually so delicate, the lamp seems to float from above, wrapped with bands of silk which give the massive structure its ethereal look. Also, it looks like a hat that might have been used in the Ascot scene of My Fair Lady, so you know I’m in. Xo.Lighting, MoMA, Pendant lamp
